Their interest in helping others was openly seen.
Several months ago I got connected with SF Urban CHC and the helpful team that works together to help members of the community obtain their goal of homeownership. I met and connected with Tracy and Kelly Dearman of SF Urban at the pre-opening of the Fillmore Heritage. They both had a welcoming demeanor and a bundle of information to share with everyone interested in the BMR units. They informed me of the process, handed out applications, gave information on the website and the different workshops available. I took advantage of the resources SF Urban CHC provided, signed up on-line for the first time homebuyer’s workshops that I found to be very informative. Tracy and another awesome team member, Cecilia was there answering all our my questions and concerns after the workshop. Their interest in helping others was openly seen. I found Tracy to be a caring mentor to me through the entire process, and Cecilia is unwaveringly kind and very helpful. I share this with you because of the great experience I had with SF Urban CHC as I participated in the Fillmore Heritage BMR units. Though I was not selected in the lottery process, I was referred to another project. Thanks to the team at SF Urban CHC for the opportunities, resources and help you provided to first time homebuyers.
